Oil - Over 100 exhibitors for " capital oil" in Trieste

Over a hundred exhibitors will probably attend " Olio Capitale" the extra -virgin olive oil show in Trieste. This show joins the best Italian productions in Trieste where meetings with buyers from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Poland, Tzcheck Republic, Romania, Ukraine And Hungary are organized. Several events will be realized on this occasion as for example cooking lessons for a right use of the olive oil ( realized by the Italian Union of cooks); an oil bar with tasters from ONAOO ( National Organization of Olive Oil Tasters) and a meeting about "The science on the oil produced by women" ( with the journalist Rosa Martini and researchers from the Universities of Trieste, Parma and Sassari). In several restaurants in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Slovenia, Croatia and Carinthia, some presentations of oils have been organized where some menus with oils from Trieste have been proposed. Finally there are also free tours following taste itineraries between the Carso mountains and the sea.
