DOP oil: the award Sirena d'oro

The sixth edition of the award "Sirena d'oro" from Sorrento started with the award given to the 'Tasso' Theatre from Sorrento. The Major Marco Fiorentino underlined: "this award witnesses the interest this administration has in the theme of the development. Over the last years olive farms from Campania and from the whole nation have attended this show, demonstrating a great interest and attention to the field of food and particularly to the production of top-quality extra virgin olive oil. It is for this reason that the award "Sirena d'oro" has gained more and more importance, joining top-quality tourist resorts with DOP extra virgin olive oil".
