Agricolture: The Wine "Matera DOC" at The Wine-Making in London

The wines “ Matera Doc” will certainly take part to the “International wine fair” in London from 20 to 22 May. The President and the vice-president of the Association “Matera Doc”, Michele Dragone and Francesco Battifarano, announced it in a joint note after their positive participation to “Vinitaly” in Verona. The promoters of this initiative said they are working hard to turn this participation to the show in London into a good occasion to affirm a good presence of our productions even in Great Britain. In Nigro’s words, this can be an opportunity to improve the economy of Metapontino. -We grow , therefore we win- the President of the Province said-only if we make a system capable to show that this area round Matera is not only the reign of fruit and vegetables, of olive-culture and cereal-culture, but also of wine-culture, underlining the role of those cultivators that can join the Union as a right means to go over the narrow farm borders.
