“EX OLEA MUSICA TERRAE” at Spello identity cultures

At Spello the exhibition “Ex Olea Musica Terrae” was presented with a press conference. There will be three days’ festival, with 23 events, 14 food enterprises and 8 music groups to celebrate the precious extra-virgin olive oil. ‘Exolea’-according to a note of the town council- comes back for the third edition supported by the town council in collaboration with the Region Umbria, the Mountain Community Subasio Mountain and the Pro Loco Agency.’ The sense of the 2008 edition lies in the title of the programme- Is stated in the note- because the extra-virgin is really music of the land’. The novelty of this edition is the presence of the association” Canti e Discanti” that with the project “Saltarello anima Mundi” will transform the city into a music stage with concerts and wandering performances. “MangiaSpello” will be the queen of the exhibition once more, a gastronomic walk in the most beautiful places of the city. The assessor Antonio Luna explained also “we would really like to arise a reflection upon the cultures and coltures that contributed to our identities, through Ex Olea Musica Terrae”. The seminars, meetings and the presentations of the books aim at this goal. The manifestation will start with the celebration of Santa Margherita Park to celebrate the environmental certification ISO 14000.
