OIL: presentation in Bari of the guide to the Apulia extra-virgin olive oils

The first edition of the “guide to extra-virgin olive oils in Apulia”: it presents technical information, curiosities about some areas, schedules about farms and products and the original “RECEPTOIL” with about 100 typical receipts from Apulia where the extra-virgin olive oil is surely a protagonist. The guide was presented at Bari in the seat of the association “Apulia is served, 17 Imbriani street – together with the editor, Vittoria Cisonno, the book was introduced by Pasquale Porcelli, an expert gourmet who involved the participants in a game to discover the secrets of the extra-virgin olive oil: a pleasant way – the organizers maintained – to promote the culture of the area and inform the consumers for a more careful and aware use of the researches of the land. In the end of the game, there was the tasting of different oils linked to two traditional Apulia dishes: bread and tomato and the peasants’ soup.
