Liguria: in November “Olioliva” comes at Imperia again

Imperia is preparing the festival Olioliva 2009 with an extraordinary program. This event is celebrating the top-quality extra-virgin just milled, Prince of the Mediterranean diet, and the top-quality products from Liguria. The event has been organized by the Chamber of Commerce from Imperia with the Special Association “Riviera dei fiori” and the region Liguria supported by UnionCamere Liguria; Common and Province from Imperia; the national association Città dell’Olio, economic associations and sponsors. In the historical centre of Oneglia the organizers aim at a record for visitors, more than the previous edition. This year Olioliva is betting on 5 events: from the selection of pesto to the extra-virgin olive oil processing, the international challenge among tasters, the workshop, several attractions and meetings with the producers from Sicily. Sicily is in fact a special guest in this event.
