BIOIL - The first world guide of Bio Olive Culture

The first World Guide for the bio-olive culture was presented in Bari. The ‘Guide for the best bio-oils in the world’ published by Premio Biol and presented for the first time at Biofach in Nurnberg on the occasion of the ‘XIII Biolprize’. This work is much better than the traditional annual catalogue of Bioil and it is supposed to be a guide to bio varieties. This volume is supported by the Ministry for Agricultural policies and the Region Apulia. The Department to agro alimentary stuff and the trade chamber of Bari. The guide is divided into two sections. The former describes the features and the real state of the international Bio agriculture. The latter has a schedule for each nation or area containing information about history, production, qualitative level and the most typical and spread cultural varieties. Furthermore, for every region or country this guide provides ingredients and procedures for the realization of a typical speciality done with the olive oil. The protagonists of Biol 2007 were the products and the producers. The 101 oils-so many were selected- have really as many different stories; these are all products that have reached excellent results over the years.
