From Japan to Calabria for nature and gastronomy

There is an effort to do cultural and scientific activities in the Museum and the farm Libero Gatti. This is the target of a touristic promotion realized in collaboration with some International groups from Tokyo, that will favour tourism coming from Japan. The presence of Japanese tourists, the first group is coming tonight, will be useful to develop themes connected with nature, gastronomy, history and old traditions. A notice recited “the members of this first group will be involved in activities strictly connected to extra-virgin olive oil from BIOIL to seminars on olive oil-culture, guided sensorial tasting; participation to olive picking and visits to the oil mill; dinner with dishes of the old tradition based on olive oil”. In the Olive-fields of the Gatti Farm at Santa Maria del Mare, at Copanello, the group will experience handpicking, too.
